Mr Evangelos Mallidis has been an NHS Consultant Surgeon from 2016 and based in Ipswich from September 2017. He completed his medical degree and trained as a General Surgeon overseas, in Greece. He moved to the UK in 2013 to further specialize in Breast Surgery.  He completed an "Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship" in Frimley Park Hospital NHS in 2016, and also a Postgraduate "Diploma in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery" in UEA (University of East Anglia).  He has also worked as an NHS Consultant Breast Surgeon in Oxford University Hospitals and Kingston upon Thames Hospital.

 

Mr Mallidis' expertise extends to the complete range of breast surgery for benign and malignant pathology with primary focus on patient safety. He is fully accredited Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, member of the Association of Breast Surgery and British Medical Association.

Breast pathology assessment – One-stop clinic; Breast cancer care; Breast cosmetic surgery (Breast reduction, implant breast augmentation); Lipofilling/lipomodelling.

Other interests

Mr Mallidis is dedicated to teaching and teaches trainee/junior doctors. He is also the lead for the undergraduate students visiting the Ipswich Hospital Breast Team from the University of East Anglia and Cambridge University.
